Uma

Mrs. Uma Vyas

She is a process consultant engaged in coaching, human and institutional development, supporting experiential learning, facilitation, training, and project cycle management in the social development sector. She has worked on gender equality and women empowerment and issues related to Public Health, HIV/AIDS, adolescent reproductive and child health, community development, sanitation, and Nutrition. She has three and a half decades of experience in leadership positions in various women empowerment training institutes. She has compassion towards the sufferings of deprived and downtrodden sections of society. She was surprised seeing the atrocities and discrimination faced by women, children, Dalits and hence decided to support them with equity and justice.

Mr. Keshav Robert

He has worked in the field of women empowerment for more than 30 years. He has also been involved with various governmental and non-governmental organizations such as Action Aid-Nepa, Christian Aid, Oxfam-India, Madhya Pradesh Rural Livelihood Project, Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood. His expertise lies in the field of capacity building. He is known for the management skills he brought to Shanti Sahyog with his experience and a firm commitment to the organization.

Mrs. Sonali

She is deeply committed to challenging informality in work, securing workers’ rights, and advancing policy for the inclusion of migrant laborers in India’s growth story. Mrs. Sonali is a graduate of the social workers and has participated in academic programs for women empowerment. She was awarded Social Worker Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015.

Mrs. Reema

She is a development analyst & practitioner. She has more than 12 years of working experience in the development sector. She also has experience working on issues like malnutrition while promoting home-based solutions for it. She has worked on projects related to agriculture and livelihoods, natural resource management, health, women empowerment, child development, and community mobilization. Issues related to women and children have remained her forte at grassroots till now.

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important”.

Mr. Raja Samuel

He is an artist by profession but his devotion to helping needy people made him a social worker and this itself speaks volumes about his commitment to society. He provides leadership to the organization. Having the belief in participatory approaches, the management of the organization, under his leadership, is molded in the true spirit of voluntarism.
He had several accolades for his empathetic service and grabbed many appreciations for his services in the voluntary sector from both government and non-government agencies. He aims to distribute resources equally to all sections of society.
